Hughes-Stanton Removals, based in Petersfield, is a professional and careful removal service.

The business is run by myself - Sam Hughes-Stanton and I like to be involved in all of the moves that we undertake.

Life started for me on a family farm, however my professional background is in antiques.   In 1987 I began working for Dunkley Antiques, before setting up my own antiques business in Hawkley and later, in Liss Forest.

In the antique business, great care has to be taken in moving items and it was from this background that we have developed, with the help of a skilled and experienced workforce, into a professional household removal business, where caring for your goods is of utmost importance.

I am married to Niki, who runs the office and deals with all the paperwork.

As mentioned, I personally like to be involved in all moves, ensuring that you receive a careful and very personal service and I am always willing to chat through your removal needs or come out and visit you to help you solve your removal problem.

Our Removal Service

Our removal service starts with an initial contact from yourself, either by email [email protected] or phone 01730 231565/07884 313612 and a quick discussion about your needs and what you want to achieve.

Organising your move
Depending on the complexity of the move, we can either agree something over the phone or visit you to estimate the job and give you quote. If you decide to use us, we will book your move for the time and date agreed.

On the appointed hour, we will arrive at your location to begin the move. We are well aware of the time constraints and stresses that you may be under, so ensure we are always on time and of good spirit when undertaking any move (we do genuinely enjoy our work). Once loaded, we will take your goods to your chosen destination, whether it be storage (href: storage) a new house or anywhere else.

We have successfully carried out removals, in the UK, as far afield as Scotland and Cornwall and on a more local basis we are in and out London and all the towns and villages local to Petersfield.


Flexibility
We can either collect belongings ready boxed and ready for removal or we can offer a full packing service. We also supply boxes, which we can bring with us or deliver to your door before the moving date. We have a number of vehicles, allowing us to undertake small or large moves.​
